This off the grid Forest Home project completed in 2023, is a stunning example of industrial glam. With a rugged, textured look, this kitchen features a glossy tiled backsplash, and Melt pendant light that brings the whole look together. Maria Pomeroy Interiors, has created a truly remarkable kitchen space.

Finding the most amazing rural lifestyle block was the start of an enduring working relationship and friendship with my clients. Two pods were designed by architect husband, one for design studio & artwork, and the other for family living.

Set in rural Ohoka, this became a journey with my clients to create a soft oriental mood for their new home. Organic and tactile soft finishes were chosen for wallpapers and drapery which could be changed later easily, while the hard surfaces were to be kept neutral and modern.

With the client's love of the industrial, we endeavoured on creating a kitchen that had a feeling of strength, with honed granite benchtops, stainless steel and Fenix black doors from the Italian brand Arclinea.

Tucked away in the Port Hills of Canterbury, this bespoke kitchen was created for my international clients. The importance of having a beautiful, restful base when working in Christchurch, this home had to have every comfort as a retreat from their hectic worklife. Plush finishes throughout, the kitchen had to exude an elegant feel with rich warm tones.
